We thought we might have a sparse reception for our trekkers because we had a difficult time communicating precise arrival times due to a spotty data connection. How amazingly wrong we were. Parked cars stretched from the drop-off point all the way up to the Stake Center and there were so many folk lining the sidewalks with white handkerchiefs and homemade signs that it was overwhelming. After all that our handcart pioneers endured the last few days, they frankly deserved such a homecoming. Thank you to all that got the word out, and thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to all that came to cheer our trekkers home.
